At the Edmonton Community Development Company, we deliver projects that match the needs and priorities of our local communities.
How do we do it?
By engaging directly with residents and businesses. We prioritize the understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that each area holds.
We have some communities in Edmonton that are facing a tough time, with empty lots, boarded-up businesses, and neglected properties.
We’re determined to make a difference in these neighborhoods.
These issues often stem from social problems like poverty, homelessness, and crime.
Our goal at the ECDC is simple:
to serve these neighbourhoods and keep their feedback in mind as we undertake development projects. We want to create spaces where people can thrive and where the community’s aspirations come to life.
We’re here for all of Edmonton, but right now, our focus is on the urban core neighbourhoods.
We’re talking about vibrant places like McCauley, Eastwood, Alberta Avenue, and Fraser in the North East. We want to help bring back the spark and restore these areas to be better than ever.
